SNIPPP requires a HOME CHECK prior to placing any of our adoptable animals, to verify that the information you have submitted is genuine.
SNIPPP almost always requires a fenced yard for the safety of our adoptable dogs.
SNIPPP's adoption fees range from $0 to $100; each animal's webpage will generally show what the fee for that dog or cat is. This does NOT cover the expenses that most of our rescued animals require, but it helps to defray SNIPPP's costs and helps us to continue to do what we do. Donations of additional amounts are certainly welcomed.
If you are approved as an adopter, an adoption contract will be required.
Any animal that is too young to be spayed or neutered before being adopted is required to be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age, with proof submitted to SNIPPP at that time. Generally, a refundable deposit will be collected from the adopter to help ensure compliance.
Completing an application does not guarantee that you will be allowed to adopt a particular animal; SNIPPP's primary concern is finding the best homes for our adoptable animals, considering their personalities and needs.
