Tibbers is a teenaged dog who needs more attention. His active duty servicewoman owner was deployed and Tibbers didn't have a special place lined up to go--a friend offered to help but it's not working out so well there for Tibbers. He is bored and gets in trouble by chewing things. He's a good-natured guy who just wants to give everyone dog kisses; he loves other dogs. If an adopter or a foster with more time to pay attention to him isn't found, Tibbers may have to go to the shelter; imagine how sad it must be to volunteer to serve your country, yet come home to no longer have your pet dog to greet you.
