My name is Sadie; I am a small McNabb or short-haired Border Collie mix with a sweet personality. I'm not really a working cow dog, although I am well-behaved around large livestock. I am a little too interested in the chickens, so it might be best for me to stay away from them! I have a lot of energy, and will need a good-sized yard or a safe ranch setting to be sure I can get enough exercise. I like kids, but I am pretty enthusiastic, so I might be too much for really little ones. I am NOT at all savvy about keeping out of the road. I haven't been allowed indoors where I am living now, so it is unnown whether I am housetrained. I haven't been taught to do anything, so my new family will need to spend a little time to get me up to speed on being a canine good citizen. But I am smart and eager, so a kind but firm person who knows about dog training would be a great match for me.
