Maverick is a classic energetic, 80 pound, 18 month old German Shepherd.  He gets along well with large female dogs, but is not always good with males.  He is not good with cats and he would accidentally bowl over young kids with his play style, so his ideal home would include an active person with or without a large playful female dog, who will take him out for runs and work on his training.  Kids 12 and up would enjoy playing with him as well. This boy needs some good-old one-on-one time to teach him his basics.  If you have always been interested in a German Shepherd, or you have had many during your life, this is a great time to meet this beautiful boy.
