I'm Freckles and I haven't had the best of luck so far finding a new home. First I was rescued from a location where 20 dogs were all chained up, living outside with little or no protection from the weather. We were all heartworm positive, but I've gone through treatment and am heartworm negative--so that's all good. A couple of different people who were really nice tried adopting me, but I didn't get along with the other dogs in their lives, so they brought me back to SNIPPP. I guess I'd be better off living in a one-dog household, although I seem to do fine on walks with other dogs. I've learned that sleeping on a soft bed, spending time indoors, and having someone to pet me, brush me, and treat me special are wonderful things. I am a polite, calm girl--I love to go out for a walk, check on what other dogs are doing, and I don't chew things up. I hope someone will give me another chance; it would be especially wonderful to find a quiet home with a single adult who will just love me for the sweet girl I am.
