Beautiful Cozette (Cozi for short) is anxiously waiting for her forever family! This healthy 7 month old female is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations & is on monthly heart worm preventative.

Talk about a looker! Wowza! And she's a sweetheart to boot! She is most likely a Belgian Malinois (that's what she appears to be to us). Cozi is such a love bug & wants nothing more than to please her person! If her forever family has kids, they should be older kids. She's a happy girl who is crate trained & when she's inside the house, she will alert to go outside to do her business. Cozette needs a yard to romp in that is completely fenced, at minimum 5 feet high.

Cozette does well with large dogs both male & female, however, she does not do well with small dogs. She has a submissive approach with other dogs. Cozi does 'ok'  with the cat but thinks chasing it might be pretty fun so she could use some training in this area or better yet, have a home with no cats. She knows sit, lay down & off & she's learning wait/stay & leash protocol. She's treat & positive reward motivated making training sessions super rewarding.

This active pup loves to play but whens she's done, what she really loves is to lay on the bed with her people! Or she's ok with making herself comfy in the recliner too. So are you excited & ready to meet beautiful Cozette?

We are accepting adoptions applications for Cozette, just complete one on this website by selecting Forms then select Adoption Application.

Please note: if you are looking for a particular breed of dog, please be aware that most of our adoptable pets come to us as STRAYS, so we have no way of guaranteeing what breeds they are. When we state a particular breed or combination of breeds for an available dog, we are simply making our best educated guess based on the appearance of the animal and input from our veterinarians. If you must verify breed makeup, we will cooperate with you to do genetic testing at YOUR expense before you commit to an adoption.

SNIPPP prefers to have adoptive homes within the northern California counties of SHASTA, LASSEN, MODOC, SISKIYOU, TRINITY, TEHAMA, and HUMBOLDT to make it easier to do home checks and transport adopted animals to their new homes.  Although we are willing to make exceptions, especially in cases of animals with special placement needs, the costs and arrangements for additional transportation outside this area may need to be handled by the adopting individual or family.

SNIPPP requires an adoption contract, a home check, veterinary references, and an adoption fee. All SNIPPP animals are spayed or neutered (unless they are not yet old enough, in which case adopters will be required to provide proof of spay/neuter at the appropriate time and will be entitled to a $75 refund of a deposit paid at the time of adoption). They are all up-to-date on vaccinations, have received appropriate veterinary care, and are micro-chipped. If they are dogs at least 6 months old, they have been tested for heartworm and are on preventative.

Some of the animals on our website are COURTESY  LISTINGS. Different adoption requirements may apply for these animals, and they may not have received the same level of veterinary care; please ASK the person offering the animal for adoption any questions you have regarding vaccinations or health status.  SNIPPP makes no warranties as to the validity of statements made regarding the personal characteristics of animals listed on a courtesy basis.  Adopters are advised to consult with a veterinarian or animal behavior professional to confirm health or temperament characteristics of any animal considered for adoption.

Completing an Adoption Application does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt from SNIPPP; our primary concern is with finding the most appropriate homes for the animals in our care. Many of them have gone through rough times, and need an especially understanding person to help them realize their full potential. To complete an application, you will need to register on our website.

If you have applied and are approved as an adopter, we can arrange for you to meet individual pets you may be interested in at other times, too. SNIPPP PO Box 223 MCARTHUR, CA 96056
