Hi, I'm Flower! I'm a hound/lab mix. I have a very sad, droopy face but I am a very happy, loving and super cute dog.
I'm 7 years old and I was adopted as a puppy by a nice lady who then got pregnant. I lived with this single mom and her daughter as much as possible, but it was hard being moved around all the time and she left me with her friends. I wasn't sure where my next move or home was or when or if she would ever come back for me. And not everyone treated me kindly.
Now, I find myself with a very loving lady that fosters dogs and volunteers for SNIPPP. Originally, I was left here until my owner moved into a place where I was allowed. We thought date was Nov 1. Well, my owner moved and then she informed my foster mom, that she didn't want me back because I'm too vocal and her heart is shut down.
This is what my foster mom says about me.....
Hi, my name is Laureen Oliveira and I am currently fostering "Flower". We integrated Flower into our "pack" beautifully. Flower is a very sweet, loving dog, who just, like any other dog, wants some attention, good food, and a furever home. When Flower whines (which her owner kindly calls it "vocal"), she simply wants attention, food and/or love and when her needs are met, she relaxes. Flower is amazing with children, cats, dogs, and humans. She really is such a sweet girl. She has her own bed she loves and is housebroken. Not once in the 2 months that she has been with me, has she damaged anything. Not a chewer. Just an all around good girl. Flower would be a great companion for a senior person as she is so mellow and just loves to be petted and cuddled! If I didn't have 4 other dogs (all rescues) already, I would consider keeping her. However, I cannot and I feel like FLOWER DESERVES A LOVING FOREVER HOME!
