I’m Harley, a very intelligent, comical, fun-loving 2-year-old male Basenji-Husky mix who loves everyone and everything!  I’m great with dogs (big & small), cats and all sizes of people – I just like company whether gardening, jogging, or playing tug-o-war. At my age, I need to keep busy. I’m not much of a barker, but I love to talk to you (yodel and chortle) and of course PLAY! My foster mom is very proud of me because I never potty in the house, don’t chew up things outside or in, am crate trained but am free in the house at night because I sleep well. But please be consistent in your commands to me because I’m so smart, I’ll train you if you don’t let me know you’re the boss. I respond well to positive reinforcement. Although I don’t bark much, I’m very alert and will not let harm come to you. Please call 530 335-2192 to find out more about me!

Please note: when Harley has been around small children, their tendency to sometimes move suddenly and shriek or cry seems to frighten him, so we would recommend a household with children 10 years of age or older.
