I'm called Iris, and I am a medium-sized Australian Cattle Dog mix.  I am shy with new people, and because of a bad experience in my earlier life, I think men are kind of scary.  But I do warm up to kind, gentle women fairly quickly, and that's probably the kind of person that I would do best with.  I'm very happy around other friendly dogs, and I am also fine with cats.  I don't pull on the leash when I go for a walk with you.  I behave very well on car rides--I'd be a calm companion who would love to go on road trips with you.  Is there room in your heart for a shy gal like me?
