Chrissie's Fund THANK YOU -- Saturday March 6th, 2010
SNIPPP has had an incredibly active time this last 8 months, and a very large part of what we have been busy doing has been possible thanks to a generous grant from Chrissie’s Fund. Because of the deep and unshakable love for animals that the founders of Chrissie’s Fund have shown, SNIPPP has been able to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home many large mixed breed dogs. We have arranged for the spay, neuter, vaccination, and protection against heartworm of dozens of large dogs belonging to low-income residents. We’ve also just received word from Chrissie’s Fund that we may extend the program to include some MEDIUM-sized dogs of low income residents!
Most incredible of all, we were able to give a second chance to the 20 dogs we have dubbed “The Chain Gang”. Without the dedication of Chrissie’s Fund, SNIPPP’s ability to help these poor dogs would have been limited indeed. But now they are through the worst of their ordeal, and are ready to be placed in forever homes. We salute Chrissie’s Fund for the precious lives they have saved. We are proud and honored that they have chosen to support SNIPPP.
